MEN allows a semester of training and paid work thanks to a cross-border exchange between Sicily and Malta funded by the EU, valid on four main macro areas: tourism, health and improvement of the quality of life, blue economy and environmental protection-circular economy .

Goals
General: increase the mobility of workers in the Italian-Maltese cross-border area through the creation of joint career guidance and accompaniment services, in order to promote qualification and job placement
Specific: provide all applicants with notions of knowledge of the reference market, entering them in a database capable of reconciling job supply and demand. The mobility program therefore includes pre-departure preparation, "welcoming" and introductory activities at the host company, internship in the company for six months paid for 2000 euros gross per month with which the participants can provide for room and board and work activities preferred to planned with reference partner companies.
MEN constitutes a stable "cross-border" collaboration network among the many partners: public institutions, Sicilian and Maltese employment centres, schools, higher technical institutes, agencies and associative and private labor market bodies, for job mobility exchanges in the two Islands, mainly in the sectors of environmental protection , sustainable tourism, blue economy and quality of life and health of citizens.
It integrates the labor markets of the cross-border area, improves access for the populations of the two islands to innovative and technological guidance and support services for job placement, creates connections between companies and higher education centres. A project at the service of young people recent graduates, unemployed or looking for a jobbut also of businesses looking for qualified human resources also from other countries, thus able to benefit from mobility and accompaniment services.
Another big step taken with a view to enhancing the integration of Sicilian and Maltese market in order to increase employment. A great opportunity for the exchange of skills and mobility for people between the two islands in the heart of the Mediterranean, to facilitate and improve the sharing of data between the two countries, creating new opportunities.
